Never Gone Tour - 02.February.2006
Doors opened about 7:10pm
Supporting act Kate Alexa was on about 8:00pm
The guys were on at about 9:00pm
The night was amazing. Some people even spotted Brett Lee (the cricket player) and Anthony Callea (Australian idol) in the crowd.
They sang most of their songs from the Never Gone album and some oldies like ‘Shape of my heart’, ‘I want it that way’, ‘All I have to give’, ‘Ill never break your heart’ and more.
There were some very entertaining and special moments like when Brian noted that this was were the Australian Open was played and hit some signed tennis balls into the audience, then gave the racquet away. He also imitated Lleyton Hewitt’s ‘come-on’. It was very funny to watch.
AJ got off stage and ran up some stairs to some fans (our seats were right near that, I could almost touch Aj) Brian blew a kiss to this girl with a sign saying it’s my birthday, then mouthed happy birthday!
Nick went down and gave this beautiful girl in a wheelchair a kiss.
I think it was Kevin who led us into a chant of Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!
Aj got an Australian flag, which was thrown up on stage and put it on the stairs during the piano songs (Brian helped with his water bottle as it wouldn’t stay).
Nick laughed at everything.
Brian dropped his hat at one stage and Nick found that amusing. Howie did some groovy little dance moves and grabbed a lot of fans hands.
They were all so nice and thanked us for our loyalty over the years. All in all it was an amazing night! Which I will never forget!
